Collections: The Boy Cut
For this new Autumn-Winter 2016 Collection, Jean Louis David has given pride of place to seductive women... notably, those with short hair. With The Boy Cut hairstyle, the hair is kept off the nape of the neck and the hair strands have slight copper tones, while the eyes are enhanced by an asymmetrical fringe. Let's take a closer look.
With this short and thinned out fringe, the haircut is slightly asymmetrical and full of movement for a very dynamic result.
The exclusive technique
Jean Louis David uses the 2-in-1 Color technique. The aim? To add depth, by selecting a few areas to lighten, which are then blended into the rest of the hair. Copper shades add depth to the top sections, capturing the light, and make the eyes stand out.
The four variations of The Boy Cut
- A short, thinned out fringe for a highly styled finish.
- An unstructured effect for a rock look.
- A slicked back haircut for a conventional look.
- A short and layered haircut - London sixties style.
